Why Make it a HABIT?

In Southwestern Ontario there are 800 brain injuries reported annually to persons under the age of 19.

Brain Injury is often referred to as the “hidden injury” because the damage is not visible. Individuals who have sustained a brain injury may suffer from many problems including memory, speech, behavior, emotion, initiation and word finding abilities.

Funding programs and Community Services are going through continuous cutbacks and many individuals living with brain injury are being affected.

HABIT was created to assist in funding medical healthcare and supportive services for individuals, charitable organizations and medical facilities with special emphasis on the needs of children and youth with brain injury.

We are committed to 3 objectives:

  • Education
  • Fundraising
  • Disbursement of Funds

Call today for information on volunteer opportunities, upcoming events and/or making a contribution to support the efforts of HABIT.
